THE OPTIMIST HOPES IT WILL TURN.

We love the sea as a place of relaxation and activity, but do we also know it as a place of rhythmic deceleration and connection with the elements?
Do we know it as a place that challenges us, makes us humble and can bring us into mindful harmony with the forces of nature?
The sea lets us experience boundaries, find new paths and reach unknown shores.
It is a place of movement and tranquility, a source of life and a path to new horizons.
Nowhere can you experience this more intensively than on a sailing boat.
Sailing offers a way to distance oneself from the hectic pace of our modern everyday life in a short time. By immersing ourselves in new, unknown things, our thoughts come to rest and we are more likely to become completely absorbed in the moment, to be in the here and now.
This is exactly the experience we want to share with our guests: Through immersion in the unknown, in the here and now, learning mindfulness and arriving back at oneself. Sailing to (re)discover the world around us, but above all the things learn something new about ourselves.
This is not to be done from the perspective of the seminar, or a provider offering an all-inclusive programme, but to be developed on the basis of Mindful based stress reduction (MBSR).
A week of focusing and mindful experience in extraordinary places. The content and programme will vary according to the participants, locations and weather conditions.
In the early summer months in the pure fjords of central Norway, in the late summer/autumn in the Greek islands and in the German winter in the archipelago of northern Cape Verde. Regions that are quite different and yet very similar in their natural purity.
