Norwegen Landkarte

The impressive geography of the country is reflected in the extensive mountain ranges and the, all islands included, almost 80,000 kilometers of Atlantic coastline. Despite the country's enormous expanse, the population just barely reaches the five million mark, making it one of the most beautiful natural areas in Europe.

Sailing around Norway is a unique experience: high green mountains, deep fjords and countless small islands form a breathtaking sailing panorama.

We limit our trips to the three warm months of June, July and August. During this time, you can count on sunshine and warm weather. Compared to Mediterranean summers, Norway is cooler, so even in summer, a jacket and sweater are part of the obligatory sailing luggage.

Despite its northern location, however, the Norwegian west coast is characterized by a relatively mild climate. Thanks to the Gulf Stream, the temperatures of the coastal waters are moderate all year round.

The further north we go, the less populated the coast becomes and we can really enjoy the wild and untouched nature of Norway.

Here, small fishing and nature harbors are our preferred moorings. This provides our guests the opportunity to enjoy the wild and untouched nature of Norway while sailing.

Sustainability is a priority.

Norway is a country of overwhelming beauty. It is important to preserve this natural flora and fauna. The Norwegian philosophy: Everyone is responsible for the protection of nature.

Nature that inspires awe.

There are over one thousand fjords in Norway. They look like calm blue lakes. However, they contain salt water - because they are the extended arms of the sea. A sight that exudes deep peace and serenity.

Often their majestic cliffs, rising on either side of the shore, reach deep inland. Many of the fjords are interconnected. Therefore, we can sail from one fjord to another or back to the open sea.

To experience the world of the fjords more intensively, we also go on kayaking tours, hiking adventures, and fishing expeditions, in addition to the sailing

Norway's culture

Even if Norway stands for an intensive nature experience, which we would like to share with you, the country offers a rich culture. For example, Bryggen in Bergen, the Urnes Stave Church, the Nærøyfjord as well as the Geirangerfjord and the surrounding landscapes are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In addition, the country offers history buffs many historical sites, art and folklore museums, open-air museums and relics dating back to the time of the Vikings.
